Nitza Kardish

CEO, Trendlines, Agrifood fund

"From a young age, I have been passionate about agriculture and the sciences. I began my studies in agriculture at Mikveh Yisrael, Israel’s first agricultural school. My formal education took me in the direction of a Ph.D. in plant molecular biology and studies in law, which gave me insights into the business world.

My professional path has taken me from research and development in leading companies and institutions in the life sciences to 15 years of experience working in senior management at life science especially in medical technology companies.

As CEO of Trendlines Incubators Israel, an incubator focused on innovation-based agricultural and medical technology companies, I combine my experience in medical technology companies with my roots in agricultural science to develop companies in these sectors. Our objectives are literally to feed the world with Israel’s latest inventions in agricultural and food technologies and to provide better health care solutions through innovative technologies. My passions, knowledge and experience in science, agriculture, medical devices and business are an excellent combination to fulfill and lead these objectives."
